At the time of the ruling of the Pasha of Marrakech, the Museum of Marrakech, was the first school for girls in the red city. Abandoned for many years, it was then restored years later by Omar Benjelloun. This passion for art and restoration makes this museum a cultural hotspot, marked by its traditional architecture dating from the nineteenth century. Now, the museum organizes exhibitions on two main themes: cultural heritage and contemporary art.
