To establish this study, the search engine travel specialist interviewed 1,043 people from 43 different countries and compared the estimated costs of a destination, expenditures for accommodation, food and beverage. The results show a gap between what the traveler sees and the actual cost of the holiday there. According to the results India is seen as the cheapest country, but in reality it is Morocco followed by Thailand and Poland.
