The program for this evening will be filled with celebrations highlighting Moroccan artists in Contemporary and culinary arts, along with many other surprises. Happy Birthday to The Renaissance!

Coming soon                                                                                                                                              The Park Hyatt hotel chain will soon be opening an establishment in Marrakech, in 2013. This 5 star luxury hotel, located in the Al Maaden resort will include 130 rooms and suites, restaurants, a spa, a clubhouse and pool. 44 villas designed by the New York architect Perkins Eastman and Imad Rahmouni, will also emerge. Given the reputation of the park Hyatt, the hotel will be contemporary and the villas will have direct access to golf.

Poetry
From the 30^th of May to the 4^th of June, Marrakech will be host to the the 7^th International Meeting of Poetry, with the theme “ Poetry, a universal bridge between cultures”. This event will be organized by Lucile Bernard, founder of the centre of Artistic Creation Shara Riad Nour Foundation in partnership with Dar Bellari, ESAV, the museum of the palmeraie.The four days will feature exchanges between poets and students, a poetry competition will be open to young people aged 16 to 25 and fundraiser for orphans and street children.Poets Jean-Pierre Simeon, Nimrod, Mario Camparia and many more will be present.

Reopening
Riad Khadija Spa, located in the heart of the Medina Azbet, has re-opened. It’s five luxurious rooms combine tradition and modernity and the gourmet restaurant and wellness area makes it one of the most luxurious in Marrakech.

Master Chef
Moroccan Abdelmajid Britit of Naoura Barriere and Rachid Agouray of Palace Mamounia will be qualifying for the Bocuses d’Or on the 26^th and 27^th of May. The competition will take place at the Mazagan Beach Resort and the final in Lyon on the 29^th and 30^th of January 2013.

Condolences
A train from Marrakech to Casablanca struck a school bus in Benguerir. This terrible accident has resulted in four deaths and sixteen wounded five in critical condition. Our sincere condolences go out to their families.
