The second edition of the Marrakech du Rire ( from June 6^th to the 10^th) continues to announce it’s programme. After Omar Sy and Franck Dubosc, the festival created by Jamel Debbouze, announces the names of comedians Hocq Virginia, Malik Bentalha, Tony Saint Laurent, Julie Ferrier and singer Stromae.

Visit

The FIFA President Joseph Blatter came to Morocco in preparation for the kingdom becoming host to the Club World Cups from 2013 to 2014. During his stay, he visited to Grand Stade de Marrakech and the new headquarters of The Royal Moroccan Football Federation in Rabat.

Retirement

Morocco is the favourite country for retirement among the French, followed by Spain. According to Challenges magazine, 20 to 25 000 pensioners live in the kingdom. The reasons: pleasant climate, close proximity to Europe, a developed infastructure and the fact that French is widely spoken. There are also numerous tax advantages, 8% of departures are to Morocco, including Marrakech and Agadir.

Dar Bellarj honors children with “The Odyssey of the Children”, as part of this event children will participare In a show on Friday 4^th of May at 7pm, the cabaret show will be performed by children ages 9 to 12.

Sculptures in the Palmeraie

The Musee de la Palmeraie welcomes the works of sculptor Simo Aagadi, from May 1^st to June 30^th. The Moroccan artists work evokes the spirituality of the creative eye, his works featuring anonymous characters are familiar and yet mysterious.
