Une exposition-vente « Sur la route des coopérativ... in marrakech marrakech marrakech Travel Marrakech

This event is part of the projects "Network women peacemakers" and "The argan cooperatives support" carried out by PlaNet Finance Morocco with the support of the Danish cooperation. These projects are aimed to improve the socio-economic situation of the women artisans and producers of Marrakech and Essaouira regions argan oil by helping to structure their mode of production, market their products and to diversify their activities including through rural tourism.

"On the road of cooperatives" is the first exhibition-sale organized by unions participating in the projects "Network women peacemakers" and "The argan oil cooperatives support" initiated by PlaNet Finance Morocco. This event is taken to renew each year and to develop by integrating new cooperatives from all provinces of the Kingdom.

This year, for fifteen days, ten women's crafts and co-operatives of Marrakech and Essaouira regions argan oil will put their products and know-how in three spaces of exhibition and sale:

at the Royal Theatre in Marrakech from 16 to 30 June 2009;
June 28, 2009.

The exhibition will be punctuated by a series of activities proposed by the women artisans: tasting of products, demonstration of manufacturing techniques and musical animations.

Rural tourism:

Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the women's cooperatives craft and argan oil of Marrakech and Essaouira regions across six tours of half a day. Each circuit revolves around a theme such as "the argan and its derivatives", "Sea and argan forest cooperative" and "ecotourism and cooperative". It is a unique opportunity to go to the meeting of the women artisans and their environment. These circuits are organized non-profit. LLS are part of the activities of rural tourism developed by crafts and co-operatives of argan oil participating in the projects "Network women peacemakers" and "The argan oil cooperatives support" of PlaNet Finance Morocco.
