Built within the Abdellah Ben Yassine school in the district Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, this centre is part of the project "mediaction" member organization "search for common ground", in partnership with the NHRIS, and with the support of the Embassy of Great Britain in Rabat and the regional Academy of Education and training (AREF) of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz.

Spread over 24 months, this project focuses on the creation of 5 centres of community mediation for young people in 5 cities in the Kingdom, namely, Rabat, Salé, Fez, Meknes and Marrakesh, from the perspective of the generalization of this project in other cities while ensuring its sustainability.

This centre assigns for main mission to popularize the culture of mediation with Moroccan youth, through awareness and initiation to the values and principles of dialogue, peace and solidarity, mobilizing them to join efforts to fight against violence especially in urban areas, prevention mechanisms and the use of mediation as a tool of dispute resolution.

Speaking on this occasion, many stakeholders have pointed out that this centre created in partnership also with Youssef Ben Tachfine and the human development initiative associations, aims also to raise the residents popular for the role the mediators in the preservation of social cohesion.

They reported that he was method, in this context, the training of 25 youth (girls and boys) in a session of training techniques and the principles of leadership, management, negotiation and conflict management.
