BAR Finally a place in Marrakech that thinks outside the box! Everything here merges, innovates and invents, a place to party and more!
In one of the few houses still standing for 40 years in this district of Marrakech, the Djellabar introduces it’s Apero Zen. A perfect name for a relaxed evening, accompanied by the latest creations produced by Claude Challe.
The perfect after work event, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, with a good selection of drinks and cocktails, all served with small tapas dishes. The atmosphere rises with music played by DJ MO, formed by Claude Challe himself, the decor is a perfect mix of traditional Arabian design and contemporary furniture and portraits of stars wearing the famous red fez, adorn the walls. You will immediately be put in the mood once inside, The Djel (for short) attracts a cosmopolitan clientele, and classic eastern and international dishes are served, such as tuna pastilla of Sidi Bou Said and the famous Djellabar couscous with barley.
One can also come to Djellabar earlier or later in the evening, just for a drink on the terrace, the bar or in the lounge. The staff is all welcoming and friendly and there is a show of belly dancers and a mix of music from Indian to pop to electronica.
Great sensations and more… We vote for the uncompromising Djel!
