SOCIETY SAR Prince Philippe de Belgium held Monday in Marrakech, a meeting with representatives of the national investment society (SNI).

This meeting, which took place on the margins of the work of the of the Initiative Mena-OECD Ministerial Conference, was marked by the presence of Abdellatif Jouahri, wali of Bank Al-Maghrib as well as his counterpart of the National Bank of Belgium.

In a statement to the Agency MAP, Mr. Jouahri indicated that this meeting was an opportunity to present the situation and the business environment to the Morocco as well as the projects that can be "fruitful" cooperation between the Morocco and the Belgium.

After the Presidency of the Initiative Mena-OECD Joint by the Morocco, the Belgium and the Spain, Mr. Jouahri insisted on the importance to lead to "concrete" operations of investment.

This meeting, he continued, was also an opportunity to present to the Belgian operators sector investment plans developed by the Morocco in areas including energy, infrastructure and banking and financial sector.

For its part, Mounia bin Saud, expert at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the presence at the Morocco of Belgian investors, noting that both parties are convinced that belgo - Moroccan relations "will improve more."
