Partenariats scientifiques: Convention signée à Marrakech

SOCIETY Several partnership on the strengthening of the relations of scientific cooperation agreements have been signed Friday in Marrakech, the Moroccan Centre for strategic studies (CMES) and equivalent international centres.
Initialled by Mohamed Benhamou, Chairman of the WCHE and representatives of the partners, these conventions, in total 16 centres, provide for the promotion of the exchange of expertise and experiences and the establishment of joint research programs.
Signed on the margins of the first international symposium on security in Africa, held from 28 to 30 January at Marrakech, under the theme "security in Africa: challenges and prospects", these agreements include the development of annual programmes concerning various themes and the holding of meetings and seminars between the signatory parties.
In a statement to the Agency MAP, Mr. Benhamou said that the signing of these agreements constitute "an acquired important" for the scientific and strategic research in the Morocco and recognition on the part of international research institutes of the seriousness of Moroccan research institutions of the quality of the Moroccan experience.
He also made State of the partnership between the Morocco and American research centres projects.
