SOCIETY "The support of the elderly: what's Morocco?". "And the role of pharmacists in medical and psychological assistance" was the theme of a conference Friday in Marrakech, the seventh edition of the International show of pharmacists "Officine Expo 2010.

In his presentation on the way in which the individual can preserve its health by advancing in age, historian and member of the Academy of the Kingdom, Abdelhadi Tazi noted that Moroccans have, for centuries, granted interest to seniors, calling such an interest of telling phrase of the high degree of civility knowing that this sector of society requires both affection and support.

Speakers did not fail to note, moreover, that the pharmacist to a the relevant role to play to this social category, particularly in terms of awareness of the elderly on the dangers that may make the use of some drugs on their health.

Built on an area of 3,000 m2, this show, two days, knows the participation of over 3,500 pharmacists and 80 exhibitors from different sectors of the drug, cosmetics and dietetics, mainly of the Morocco, in addition to laboratories for France and Spain.

He is also an opportunity to present the latest products and innovations in the fields of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and other industries and is a place of meetings, debates and training for pharmacists and practitioners.

"Health prevention, therapeutic patient education: role of the pharmacist of Pharmacy at the service of the Morocco health" and "Econometrics from pharmacy to pharmacy in 2010: better know the compendial environment for efficient development of Pharmacy" are some themes which will be debated.

The agenda also includes round tables and conferences on officinale team management and the passage of the pharmacy status SARL, workshops and training in taxation officinale.
