SOCIETY Al Kauthar was founded in 2006 as association to public utilities, where all women are regular and members responsible collectively on all business current and interests.

The centre offers a complete framework, with meals, technical, medical and personal assistance.

The centre also hosts a workshop of embroidery which offers apprenticeships to young girls or women with disabilities who have not learned trades.

The medium-term objective is to give women the opportunity to earn their living independently in a protected space and dignity.

In addition to work the centre seeks to promote literacy, self-awareness and the spiritual and physical well-being of all its members.

Embroidery and Moroccan hand work

A large part of the women have learned techniques of embroidery and Moroccan hand work adapted to the tastes and needs of today.

The association Al Kauthar, used fabrics are 100% natural, cotton, flax, and other vegetable fibres, some need to be imported to ensure the high quality of products.

All their products are hooked, knitted, or embroidered by hand and thus can be controlled individually and custom.
