CULTURE The 2nd Edition of the World Festival of security Film road (FMFSR) has terminated Friday evening in Marrakech, by the award of the Grand Prize at communicative support French. The Grand Prize of the 2nd Edition of the global Festival of road safety film awarded to the France
This award, presented by the Minister of equipment and Transport, Karim Ghellab, rewards a series on road safety by the television channel "France 2".
Initiated by the Association "Laser International", NGO member of the UN road safety collaboration, group in partnership with the national Committee on prevention (CNPAC) traffic accidents, the Festival fits in the framework of the national day of road safety and in the extension of the World Ministerial Conference on road safetyheld on 19 and 20 November last in Moscow.
The France also won the Special Jury Prize awarded to the film "essentially, it is health", while the special prize of the Festival, created for the first time, returned to Britain for "turning Point" and the award of the Public to "No turn back" (Turkey).
Other prizes were awarded to communication media representing the five continents and made in the five years.
Thus, prices for categories "Films made for youth, by youth" and "Prevention of professional risks" returned to the France and the "Reports of actions" category in the Portugal.
For their part, the Korea of the South, the India and the Turkey were awarded the respective Catégries "Innovations for road safety", "Road Safety Education" and "Communication and campaigns".
It should be noted that prices have also been attributed to films by geographic areas. These awards were won by Australia (southern region), Canada (North America), the South Korea (Asia), Senegal (Africa), Egypt (Mediterranean area) and Bulgaria (Europe).
The closing ceremony of this major event was marked by the screening of the film of awareness Moroccan "the hoods" which won the Grand Prize of the 1-era Edition organized in 2006 in Geneva, a musical interlude with the national rap "fnaïre" group and the projection preview of an advertising spot entitled "priority to the pedestrian, priority in the life" and directed by the CNPAC to be launched on national security day Road.
Speaking on this occasion, Minister of equipment and Transport, Karim Ghellab, congratulated the organizers and local authorities who have spared no effort to ensure full success in this great world event.
He also noted the operational importance films presented at the festival and relevant messages they convey, noting that the Morocco is fully engaged in the process of prevention against traffic accidents through including a series of actions and outreach and education efforts.
For its part, the President of the Association "Laser International", Robert Trottein, pointed out that the Morocco has both a coherent political will and "very notable" communication products on road safety which enable it to serve as an example for other countries.
The Grand Award at the Morocco in Geneva is a recognition of the quality of the communication strategy of the Kingdom in this area, he said.
Awards ceremony took place in the presence notably of wali of region-Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz acting Bouchaïb El-Moutaouakil, and the Secretary-General of the Senegalese Ministry of transportation.
