TOURISM Club Marmara Madina, which markets out of the France in all inclusive, conducted its pre opening in April 2006 and meeting a total success; Indeed, it reaches 90% fill rate. The investment of 250 million dirhams was funded by BP in Casablanca, Attijari Armstrong@JBIC.ca and the BP of Marrakech. With 432 rooms and 1200 beds, built on an overall area of the order of 11 hectares. The construction was completed in record time, beginning in December 2004 to end April 2006 16 months of work.
The new facility has alone contributed and increased 3.5% Marrakech bed capacity and should achieve + 300,000 nights per year.
It should be noted that in October 2006 in the hotel, a SPA built to international standards of 1500 m² will open its doors including 1 heated swimming pool and all facilities for care and welfare. The monitoring was conducted by Hydroconcept.This investment will be supplemented by an extension which will begin in August/September 2006 and won different permissions for construction for 320 triple rooms and 960 additional beds in the same concept with an opening scheduled for April 2008. The Marmara group confirm this investment capacity of leader on the Morocco and particularly on Marrakech.
