SOCIETY BMCE Bank Foundation and the Foundation Telefonica Morocco signed on Friday, 12 June 2009, in Casablanca, a partnership agreement for a programme of development of New Technologies and strengthening program "School digital rural" 2009-2012 in the schools of the Medersat.com network.
Under the terms of this agreement, signed by Mrs. Leila Meziane Benjelloun, President of the Foundation BMCE Bank and Mohamed Elmandjra, Director General of Meditel and Executive Vice President of the Foundation Telefonica Morocco, a pilot program will be led about 60 schools and for the construction of multimedia rooms, their equipment by computer and interactive equipment, the development educators remotely via an e-learning platform, and the development of digital educational content.
At the signing ceremony, chaired by Ms. Latifa El Abida, Secretary of State responsible for school education, in the presence of Mr. Othman Benjelloun, CEO of BMCE Bank Group, Ms. El Abida, including noted that the corporate citizen is more and more involved in the actions and the national education sector development programmes.
Signature of this agreement reflects awareness of the company for its commitment in the education and training system, she noted, ensuring that the convention complements the programs of the Department for the development of the system of education and training for a better qualification of the winners should have a competitive spirit and participate in development.
