INTERVIEWS 57 Years, Mohammed BELLAGNAOUI is the first civil pilot's Morocco helicopters. He returned with M!M on some moments that have marked his life, of memories the sky and stars full eyes.

1 - First name, age, profession?

Mohammed, 57 years, pilot helicopters for a private company.

2 - Where you become the envy of fly?

I became a driver somewhat by accident... Finally, I was in the army in 1973, in a promotion of 125 students, and once finished the common trunk, it turned out that I was the first of my promotion. Given my results, the command gently forced me to try flying. At the time, we start on with NAT6G, single piston aircraft...

My first ambitions were totally opposed! Dreamed me photographer or if any auto mechanic. I remember that at the time, my mother refused that I parte in boarding school in Mèknes, thus forcing me to abandon my career as a mechanical. The maternal instinct, surely...

3 - What is your most beautiful memories of Marrakech?

The day where I was confirmed in 1975 fighter pilot, on April 27... By chance, is the day of anniversary of my wife, I knew that from view at the time.

4 - What is your worst memory in Marrakech?

The worst memory... The choice is vast... The most memorable of which I can tell you about, it was my fifth flight solo, 1974. Always on the same equipment, the mono-moteurs, a tyre burst during takeoff. The aircraft exited the runway to break a few meters more later. The wings, landing gear, "bousillés"... But I am in left free, the evidence, I off the afternoon...

5 - Can you tell us a little your route?

My journey, there are many things to say, and so to remember... I stayed in the army for 24 years, from 1973 to 1997; and I became a pilot of helicopter in 1977 to the present. I did many internships in France during this period of my life. In 1999, I went two years away from my native land, in New York, where I wanted to validate my license of pilotage, but $40,000 validation, to make profitable them... Therefore, during the end of the year 2000, I returned home to become the first civilian helicopter of the Morocco driver.

6 You have a story in flight over Marrakech?

There are many, and some that I preferred to keep secret. But I remember once, at a christening of the air for a couple with their child, I flying a small helicopter, an alouette 2. The launch goes well, and suddenly the hydraulic pump breaks down. This is not a catastrophic failure, I lived in worst property... Either by security, I turned to land at Marrakech. With a failure such as this, I needed space and the private parking was archi-plein... I made a request to ask me on one of the airport runways. No problem... Until the arrival of a Boeing 747 on the runway! With my small helicopter down, I have blocked the road to the flying monster for a few minutes... With the small family on board which was for the first time in helicopter and all the passengers of the 747...

7 - Who have been your most prestigious clients?

All... All my clients are prestigious. Otherwise more seriously, do you know Adriana Karembeu or Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Robert Redford, Jacques Villeret, Jamel Debbouze... and a lot of government officials and many film directors...

8 Have you maintained any links with them?

I kept contact with Adrianna and Jamel... They occasionally calling me or send me messages from time to time... Adriana who is accustomed to participate in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles, from March 17 there, I'm expecting his call...

9 - Are what events you covered?

Almost all, except the Marathon and the Tour rider. Otherwise I've covered the rally of the 4 L, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles... As well as of major films, like for example or Iznogoud Alexandre shootings.

10 - That's most beautiful view of the sky in the region of Marrakech?

During filming, it was me to see magnificent landscapes...The region of the dam is something splendid, or then the Souk of Asni on Saturday! It's amazing as landscape, imagine a car park of donkeys... Yes, donkeys, hundreds of donkeys aligned with one near the other... What are especially the colours revealed that are dazzling... Each donkey with a particular ornament, saddles are tinted with yellow, red, blue, green... It is beautiful, a huge carpet donkey... Each passage is wonderful!
