EVENING Marrakech will commemorate Dalida on the 25th anniversary of her death. The Red city and the singer are both symobols of the success of the mix between East and West. On Saturday 12th of May a beautiful evening has been arranged to pay tribute to this artist, in the prestigious Naoura Lucien Barriere hotel.
A variety of stars, friends and inspired young generations will reproduce some of the most famous stage hits of Dalida. The presence of big show names in the business looks promising.
This tribute to Dalida is also an opportunity to work with the association Insaf, National institution of Solidarity with Women in Distress. In England Social pressures leave some 27,200 single young women to abandon newborns. The association helps young single women and their babies by giving them shelter, medical and psychological support and gives mothers the opportunity to learn a trade. The goal is to eventually enable them to take care of their children and regain confidence in life.
The Naoura Lucien Barriere, located near the Medina, will be a perfect setting for this prestigious event. The hotel group, which is also celebrating its centenary this year, will welcome its guests to the richness of Moroccan culture and the art of French living. For this special occasion, guests will be met by the pool with music and dancing and a fashion show inspired by Dalida, whose key life stages and pictures will be broadcast on a giant screen.
A passionate and emotional event that is dedicated to a muse, who herself invested in many causes. The event benefits many women and their children , something that the star would have wanted.
