After graduate in the US, at the University, and Cornell in Las Vegas I worked for the biggest names in the hotel and the Morocco such as: Las Vegas Hilton, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Sheraton, the Mamounia,tikida garden, Golden tulip farah... Since 1984, I have held various management positions that have allowed me to increase my knowledge and my experience in the field of tourism and hospitality.

-Why have you chosen to work with Vatel?

Beyond my friendship to the owner if Mohamed Kabbaj and my desire to commitment to his side in a major project, Vatel represents for me first and foremost a challenge, a challenge: that of an opening. Start from scratch and do something...

-Tell us of Vatel?

I would say to map that Vatel consists of two parts.

The first is Vatel School of hotel and tourism of international renown, whose training is the unanimity of the professionals of the sector to which it represents a label of excellence. The second is Hotel Vatel Golf & Spa which I is the Director.

It is a hotel on a human scale that offers customers the benefits of high quality. Here, everything is done to make the client feel also uncomfortable as if he was at his home. With my team, we are ensuring the detail, and the difference of the major hotel chains that first emphasize their turnover to Vatel we put the customer at the heart of our daily concerns. A satisfied customer said, it is usually very happy to talk about his visit to his relatives, friends, or posting a notice on the net. -What are the Marrakchis places you go ?

I am fan of beautiful things, gastronomy and music: also, Lounge restaurants are part of my favourite... It is enjoying excellent dishes while listening very good music, in an often magnificent framework. It is created regularly in Marrakech, and I take great pleasure to discover them.

-What do like do you when you have free time?

Marrakech is a city that moves, a city that vibrates... It is never bored, there's always something going, there is something for everyone and all ages. For me, I am eating enough art and culture. Then, as soon as I can, I take this opportunity, I'm going to the cinema or a concert.

-Do you have a story to tell?

A few years ago, with friends, I wanted to bring the Montreux Jazz festival, and I faced a such as shuffle, that it remained at the stage of the story...

-Do you like the most in Marrakech?

The climate, yet the climate, always the climate... There is a true art of living here, and above all a very good quality of life. I lived in different places, as well in the Morocco in the world, but it is here that I stayed. And then the city has plenty of cultural and artistic events which is not to displease me!

-Do you like least in Marrakech?

Little things. I regret especially the absence of musical event at the ochre city. Casablanca has several festivals, Rabat of Mawazine, Fez was one of the sacred music... When a festival of this size in Marrakech?

-How do you see the evolution of the hotel sector in Marrakech in the years to come?

Since some time, there has been a flowering of very large hotel projects. At Marrakech, the accommodation capacity has quadrupled: moved within a few years 20,000 beds to 80,000 beds. And it continues... Then even the number of arrivals is slowing. This will give of trouble in the tourism and hospitality professionals who will have to carry out a serious work to resolve this problem. However, I remain very optimistic, because the Morocco always known to bounce.
