CULTURE 500,000 people mobilized in this 9th edition of the festival of Essaouira, all love the Mystic city, music and good atmosphere. Young talent and little-known Moroccan onstage talent themselves are given appointments and this for the pleasure of a cosmopolitan audience coming from the four corners of the globe.

The artists were as in the accustomed of all ages and from different backgrounds...Before the list of talent discovered during this Edition, a thought is to Mohamed Behzaz, mâalam gnaoui souiri that left us the first day of the festival, he was part of the troupe of the Bakbou Mâalam.

The 9th edition of the festival of Essaouira Gnaoua and musics of the world, closed by Rachid Taha awaited by thousands of fans... and for the story, there was even a dad who despite the crowd imposed the stroller of her 2-year-old daughter so she discovered her idol.

The discovery of new talent was not the only highlight of this festival, round tables and discussions with and among the artists was organized for the first time.
