SOCIETY The regional Academy of Education and training (AREF) in the region of Marrakech Tensift Al Haouz and the Near East Foundation (NEF) organize, on 28 January in Essaouira, a workshop of the project "Participation of the community in the reform of primary education" (PACREP) in the region.

This workshop is designed to present the PACREP project, namely his axes and its approaches, as well as the plan of action of the year 2010.

During a half-day, various stakeholders, including the project management team PACREP and the delegations of the Ministry of national education in the provinces of Essaouira and Chichaoua, will discuss the action plan to initiate project activities in areas of intervention.

The two parties will sign at the same time, a specific cooperation agreement that accompanies the convention framework of partnership signed in November last between the regional Academy and the Foundation relating to the extension of the PACREP project in the region of Marrakech.

Funded by the Partnership Initiative with the Middle East (MEPI), the PACREP is effective and participation of the local community, of the various partners of the rural school in the process of reform of primary education.

The recent extension of the project in the region of Marrakech Tensift Al Haouz concerns in particular eight schools in the provinces of Essaouira and Chichaoua.
