CULTURE For a few days of the month of October, from 8 to 11, Marrakech will host Marrakech Art Fair, the first edition of an international fair of modern art and contemporary art in the Morocco.

A selection of international galleries is poised to invade the city, and adorn it wonders from around the world. For this 2010 Edition, Art Fair offers a cultural journey through the ochre city and in large spaces of exposure.

The Es Saadi Palace is home to about 30 galleries, of which half comes from North Africa. Local galleries like Tindouf, re and 127 to Marrakech or Shart, Loft and workshop 21 in Casablanca... But also the violin blue and El Marsa galleries from Tunisia. Isabelle Van Den Eynde Dubai Gallery and the Gallery Ward Art & Culture Center in Cairo should be present. Many Parisian galleries join us in Marrakech, including Gallery JGM, but also, Hussenot Gallery, the galleries the Bank, Guy Pieters, Laurent Godin, or even the Gallery Enrico Navarra. In the presence of imminent specialists in the art market in the Arab world, of the round tables on this vast subject, will be places in the patio and gardens of the palace.

In addition to the exhibitions and artistic groups proposed by the Palace Es Saadi, any Marrakech opens his door and let contemporary art. Foundations, riads, Museum, major buildings... All are there to share with fans, places related to the history and artistic heritage of the ochre city.

At the Museum of Marrakech:

"Resonances: contemporary Moroccan artists of the world" From October 7 to December 7, 2010, painting, drawing, installation, video, photography of fifteen international artists, beautify the Museum, by exposing the talent which bind the Morocco to the rest of the world.
