4ème édition du Moonfest à Lalla Takerkoust

FESTIVAL The Lake of Lalla Takerkoust is preparing for its most beautiful days of the year. From 30 September to 2 October, the 4th edition of the Festival Moonfest will provide visitors with a mixture of music and the natural green.

The primary purpose of this event is to distract holidaymakers and local but not only. Its concept is to support the surrounding community, but especially it's source of degradation.

Environmental and citizen

Focusing on values it defends since the first edition, the Moonfest provides real support to Aboriginal people through various events. Side health first, a group of volunteer physicians offer of diagnostic and free consultations. On the side of education, an innovative idea has taken shape, each Festival must bring a book which will be then submitted to the communal library.

 

"" Most of the program helps preserve the environment through varied and entertaining activities. The first animation will be to pick up the detritus which pollute the shores of the Lake (very funny but essential step). In the aftermath, a half-day will be dedicated to reforestation. To finish the series, a Conference on waste management will clarify the causes and the consequences of pollution in the region. Moreover, "discovery" workshops will offer to create common objects from plastic bottles and other rubbish collected on the coast.
 


World music
 

All know the Moonfest, because it brings fabulous artists on the stage opened in full nature. This year, the music programming will staggering the water of the dam. Mixing rock and sounds Berbers, the show adapts to the tastes of each. It will hear the young Barry author of the title "Chkoune Ntouma", the Amazigh group Ouaden or still in the same registry, Rais Outaleb Lamzoudi.

More rock than the previous ones, found the Juju Band duo the Lazywall tangérois European, and African rhythms, and irreplaceable Hoba Hoba spirit. In addition, interpreted by the Group Bob Maghrib will be honoured to Bob Marley, who died 30 years ago this year.  The Moonfest is the only one capable of maintaining a material link and cultural festival and local, but also between the man and his environment. He said 'own festival', we say, own festival of heart and mind.
