42e édition du FNAP à Marrakech

CULTURE The national Festival of popular arts (Fnap) this year in its 42nd Edition, will take place from 11 to 15 July next in Marrakech with a rich and varied program. This cultural and artistic event that chose theme "Fnap: heritage and Arts Pop, all over the city in celebration", aims to transform the city of Marrakech, the days of the festival, in a real place of holiday and atmosphere. Can be Festival has been redesigned everything by redefining the spaces where different performances scheduled event will occur. The originality of this edition is that it is purely Moroccan and, unlike previous editions that have experienced a broad participation of foreign musical troops.
This edition is also innovative, with a return to the sources for the Palace "Badia", monument to receive in its case one of the main scenes, a free shows and integration of young people in the heart of this flagship event.
And so the festival can benefit a greater number of inhabitants and visitors of the ochre city and ensure a diversity of scheduled shows, eight corners of the city will be invested, Bab Doukala, Sidi Youssef Ben Ali, aspires El Harti, Bab Ighli and the Theatre Royal.
Twenty folk troops from different cities of the Kingdom including "Dakka", "taskouine", "the Abidates R'ma", "the Aissaoua", "mizane houara" and "the Gnawa", are expected at this edition.
Young people aged 18 to 25 years will be entitled, every evening, unreleased performances on the stage of the place of Bab Ighli by thirteen troops of young musicians whose groups "inuraz", "hoba hoba Spirit", "fnaire", "H-kayne", "darga", "amarg Fusion" and "mazagan".
The menu of this cultural and artistic event also include the Organization at the Royal Theatre of an exhibition called "Local outfits" combining clothes man and woman each troupe with comments, and a symposium on "the heritage intangible and human: songs, legends, tales and Halka, preservation and transmission" in a palace of the city.
Competitions of which, "Dekka" between the 7 districts of Marrakech, designs in henna with screening, as well as the competition Houariates of Marrakech are also planned on this occasion.
The 42 - th Edition of the Fnap is organized by the foundation of Festivals of Marrakech (WFF), the wilaya, the Council of the region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz, the Municipal Council of the city, TRC, the national Board of tourism (ONMT) and the Ministry of culture.
